Korean Twitter has found an investor

Korean microblogging service Me2day found a buyer. They became the largest Korean web portal Naver .

Me2day is very much like Twitter, and in some ways even surpasses it. For example, the function of mobile messages, they say, is implemented even better than on Twitter.

The cost of the purchase was estimated at about $ 2 million. Experts believe that the real value could have been even higher if it had not been for the bad market situation. Nevertheless, we can roughly assume that the cost of a real twitter account is some eight-digit figure, that is, not less than $ 10 million.

At the same time, we can assume how much the Russian equivalent of Twitter would cost if it was created and gained the same popularity as the Korean one. One to two million dollars at a minimum.
