How do you think the study on PMBOK and PMI certification can be useful to a person who is engaged in Web-projects? As far as I know, the PMBOK project management approach is the basis and it does not matter which project you will manage, be it building projects or IT projects. I know several people in construction who own such a certificate and such people are valued more than the same specialists who do not have this certificate - respectively, the salary is higher.
Maybe someone from habrarudey owns such a certificate? Share information. How useful is this methodology for managing IT / Web projects? Does the presence of this certificate affect the employment and remuneration?
