The ceremony of awarding the winners of the annual national award for their contribution to the development of the Russian segment of the Network was held on November 29 in Moscow. Winners determined expert advice. However, users of the Network could vote, but only for the ten best Internet projects. In total, 557 applications were submitted to the competition this year.
The Runet Prize in the State and Society nomination was awarded to the Regnum agency website, Lenta.ru reports. The second winner in the nomination was the website of the Federal Tariff Service of the Russian Federation , the third - the website of the administration of the governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug and Ugra .
In the nomination "Culture and Mass Communication" the award was presented to the site of the TV channel "Culture" . The second prize was awarded to the Bonnier Business Press Publishing House for the website of the Delovoy Peterburg newspaper . The third laureate was the site of the Mayak radio station. A special award in the nomination received the site "Country of the Deaf . "
In the category "Science and Education" this year the championship was awarded to the site of the Russian-language Wikipedia . Together with it, the laureates of the portal of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan , as well as the site about the Russian language and the culture of speech Gramot.Ru .
In “Economy and Business”, the best sites were Yellowpages.Ru , the Chronopay payment system and the regional site “Industrial Siberia” .

In the “Health and Leisure” nomination , the Cityout leisure and leisure internet project, the Combats.Ru game portal and the Odnoklassniki.Ru project are recognized as the best.
