The Dell Inspiron Mini 12 netbook, which went on sale a month ago, clearly stands out among the many other models on the market. The number 12 in the title is the diagonal of its screen, thanks to which the netbook has a pretty decent resolution: 1280x800. In fact, this is almost a full-fledged laptop, however, it retains the advantages of its “younger brothers” - low weight, size and cost.
A few days ago, the list of available operating systems has expanded: instead of Vista, you can order a netbook with Windows XP or Ubuntu, and the latter costs $ 50 cheaper without losing its characteristics.
In addition to the standard models, on the Dell website, you can
choose the parameters that are suitable for you and place an order for the resulting version (delivery, unfortunately, only in the USA):

PS On Habré, relatively much was written about netbooks, but all discussions mostly went around the Eee PC and MSI Wind. How do you rate this model? But I really liked it, and I am thinking of purchasing a Ubunt version with a 6-cell battery, a 1.6 GHz processor and a 60 GB disk — it costs 549 dollars.
PPS By the way, share which laptops / netbooks do you have and how do you rate them?
