Webbynode - VPS for developers

I am watching the development of the webbynode project. The developers promise to create a "cloud computing solution for developers."
Here are just some of the “nice features” of this project:

• VPS hosting based on Xen.
• Orientation to hosting applications and optimized for this management interface.
• Technology «ReadyStack», which allows you to quickly deploy ready-made solutions for popular frameworks. Right now there are solutions for RoR, Django, and LAMP.
• High availability, thanks to the use of many data centers.

I registered in the program for beta testers, and soon I received an invitation with all the information you need to enter.
After the login, a convenient web console opened to manage the deployed VPS.


Here is the dashboard. The characteristics are very pleasant, although of course only 1 gigabyte of traffic is not very pleasant. But in principle, as they say, "the ball beta version does not look at traffic."

From the ready, the choice is available Django, RoR and LAMP. This whole joy works by default on the basis of the 64-bit version of Ubuntu 8.10. If desired, you can deploy an “empty” Linux image and customize what you need yourself.
