Firefox and "old plugins"

To be honest, pretty much fed up with phrases from the series: I will not switch to Fx 3.1 (I personally already have 3.2a1pre) because it does not keep old plugins.

After all, there is an excellent Russian-speaking forum where you can find PRACTICALLY ALL answers.

There are 3 answers to this question (about compatibility with old extensions):

1) Nightly Tester Tools ;

2) about: config -> add the boolean key “extensions.checkCompatibility” and set it to false;

3) - download addon (xpi)
- calmly unzip as zip-archive :)
- open the file install.rdf with the editor
- we find and rule the line:
<em: maxVersion> * 3.2a1pre * </ em: maxVersion>
- we archive the entire folder in zip without compression and install the addon (thanks to daD )
