Palm launched an online application store

Palm, in anticipation of the release of its new OS for the last 6 years - Palm Nova , launched its own online application store Software Store .

It is expected that Palm Nova will be presented in January 2009 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, along with a number of new devices on the new platform.

The Software Store presents applications for both Palm OS and Windows Mobile, at the moment there are about 5000 applications and games in the store, of which about 1000 are free. 25 Palm devices are supported - from Centro to Treo Pro.

Thus, the shelf of online application stores, which so far from the AppStore ( Apple ) and Android Market ( Google ) arrived, in 2009 they should be joined by the application stores for Windows Mobile ( Microsoft ) and for Blackberry OS ( RIM ).
