As already mentioned, Finam intends to use the funds raised from the sale of the shares to purchase additional stakes in a number of companies that are already part of its venture fund structure, as well as to purchase new assets. According to Pavel Kirichenko, the general director of the management company Finam Management, at the moment preliminary agreements have been reached on entering into the capital of a number of companies, some of which are leaders in their segment. “As a result of transactions, dynamic and efficient assets will be included in the fund,” he said. “The income from their ownership will be generated both as a result of the further resale of shares and shares, and due to the growing cash flows of these companies.”
As of September 29, 2006, the value of the assets of the Finam - Information Technologies Fund exceeded 250 million rubles. The cost of one share amounted to 714409.93 rubles.
