I have been using Kaspersky Lab products for several years and the other day there was a problem with the interface - it moved out for some unknown reason. The program itself (KIS 2009) works, but it’s very difficult to manage it, because You have to randomly click on the menu, because everything is distorted and when you press the buttons of one section, a transition to another occurs or nothing happens at all.

Installed the latest version and daily updates. For a long time she tried to solve the problem herself, but to no avail. I decided to contact the technical support company. It was impossible to get through to them, almost 2 hours of waiting on the line went empty. Contact the support.kaspersky.ru with a detailed description of the problem. I made a screen, filled out all the forms, downloaded and launched their program for the total collection of information about the computer and the system. The program compiled a report in the amount of 1 MB, which I also attached to the appeal. In general, I collected the maximum amount of information so that experts could identify the cause of the problem. When sending it was indicated response time - 24 hours.

Next - wait. More than 2 days (working days) have passed, but there is no answer. The message has a status that is expected to respond from the local office. I decided to clarify about the response time and whether someone is dealing with my question, and received an answer:
“Please do not create new requests! Just respond to our emails. This will allow us to respond to you faster and better. „
I did not receive any letters from them. Waiting for more. After another day I finally get an answer on my problem. It turns out you need to reinstall KIS. This answer surprised me - three days waiting for a response to get
such an answer ? Well, reinstalled (restored), rebooted - the result is zero. “Good” help.
I began to “tinker” further and still managed to find the cause and fix the problem. It turned out that the interface crashes when you switch to the program from the Windows Task Manager, if you place the program in the foreground. After some manipulations, it was possible to return the old interface. The problem with a strong distortion of the interface remained, but now I know what not to do, so that this problem does not appear, namely, it is not necessary to switch to Casper from the Task Manager :-)
I was amazed at the “speed” and
quality of the response of the company's support service, which I did not expect. It’s good that they didn’t ask to change the computer, reinstall the system and not use Casper :-)
