I work as a head of the sales department and I often have to deal with the selection of candidates for the position of manager. In addition to standard interviews, in which I sell a vacancy rather than a candidate sells himself, we use the science of Socionics in our work.
This is essentially applied psychology, written by mathematicians to quickly determine the psychological type of a person. There are four criteria that have two meanings: Extraverted / Introverted, Touch / Intuitive, Logical / Ethical, Rational / Irrational. As a result, we get 16 psycho. Who are interested in the details - I ask in
Wikipedia .
So, there are many sites where you can check your psycho-type, but I wanted to make my own tool that can be used corporately.
At first used for this business Excel.
Everything is quite simple (from the point of view of mathematics) - there are 100 questions (25 for each criterion), of which with the help of formulas and coefficients we get a matrix of the psycho-type, for example: Extrovert + Intuitive + Logical + Rational gives, according to the table, the psycho-type JACK (which Jack London, not the ripper).

Recently made this test as a form on GoogleDocs. It turned out, in my opinion, convenient and beautiful and you can send the link to anyone you want directly by email. Naturally, all the results are collected in your table and you can easily “pick up the data.”
Anyone wishing to take the test and just see I suggest to follow the link:
spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?key=p8YGcxcvXMN9NNxgh9sKRWQ&hl=enIMPORTANT! Starting from 12/15/2008, all those who have just passed the test will be able to see their results on my blog:
gumoza.ru/iTips/69 The results of the last 14 test
takers will be broadcast there. So after passing the test - hurry up to see your result :)
UPD . There were a lot of people willing (in the first 10 minutes there are more than 50 answers). Do not be offended if the answer does not come immediately. It’s a shame that so many people passed the test, but there are not so many plus signs to the topic :(
UPD2 . Those who have not received a response by e-mail - write in a personal to Habr. Be sure to answer.
(I have a feeling that my email is recognized as SPAM and some did not receive it).
UPD3 . More than 200 requests came. Thank you all who passed the test. Starting from 9-40 (12-12-2008) I will not be able to answer the questions (because I send the answer with pens). Who really liked the idea of passing a socionics test - in the comments there is advice on which sites it can be passed.
If you want to know your psycho - specify your email - I will send you an answer.
If a lot of people respond - let's make an analytical report on psycho-types on Habré :)
UP4. Sociology on HABRA (as promised) based on about 200 responses:
UPD 5 . At the moment, there are about 350 answers - here is a more complete picture of all.
UPD 5 . Having made a little
analysis it turned out:
Most of all on Habré - Maksiov and Balzakov are both introverted logicians.
Gaben and Robespierre are also introverted logicians, they are slightly smaller (but also sufficient).
If you look at the parameters, then:
*
Introverts - 57%
* Sensors - 51%
*
Logikov - 81%
* Irrational - 51%
