Portal IGN.com published on its pages six screenshots from Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage - the first of three additions to RPG Fallout 3. The output of Operation Anchorage is scheduled for January 2009 as downloadable content for the Xbox 360 and for the PC.

Supplement Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage is designed for approximately 4-5 hours of gameplay and is created as a military simulator with elements of stealth. The player will liberate the city of Anchorage from the invasion of the Chinese Communists. New types of weapons, new armor, new skills will be available. No information was received about the Russian localization.

Recall that the downloadable content for Fallout 3 is divided into three separate episodes, which will be released once a month, starting in January. The Pitt add-on will be released in February. Here, players will explore the ruins of the industrial areas of the city of Pittsburgh. After another month there will be an addition - “Broken Steel”.
