YouTube’s success inspired Russian developers
The prototype of the Russian photo and video services "Flamber" , 35Photo and Gallery , made in the style of Web 2.0, quite possibly, are the Western leaders in these genres Flickr and YouTube .

Both sites support tags, as well as a variety of features in the spirit of Web 2.0. However, from a conceptual point of view, the projects are implemented in completely different ways.
Flamber is more academic. Here are several ways to upload photos and different types of access to photo galleries. Certain “groups” , which are still in development, are intended to communicate with users. From the "social" functions - perhaps the ability to add friends from among other users.

Website 35Photo, on the contrary, is maximally focused on communication: there are advanced communities and a traditional forum type. There is a rating of the most discussed photos , as well as a rating of the most active users . As it should be, export of RSS feeds by author, by keyword, etc., is established.
It's nice that Web 2.0 is becoming fashionable in Russia. Surely, these are only the first signs, followed by tens and hundreds of new generation services.
Generally speaking, the Russian multimedia services Web 2.0 have every chance to repeat the success of their American colleagues.
