Official JavaFX Release

Hello! Somehow here on Habré by the news passed that on December 4 there was a long-awaited official release of JavaFX. Let me remind you that JavaFX is a family of products for developing rich Internet applications (rich internet applications) with powerful support for multimedia and various content. JavaFX is a direct competitor to technologies such as Flash and Silverlight.


Personally, I somehow was not very interested in this technology until its official release, but now, looking at the demos, it has become quite interesting. As far as I know, development on JavaFX has been going on for a long time, the technology was introduced as early as May 2007, but many swore at various errors, lack of normal documentation or its dampness. Now that the official release has been released, we are only waiting for the positive :)

Ps. Unfortunately, JavaFx is currently only for Windows and Mac, for Linux is not yet available.
