Office behind the glass - now on the Internet

In one city, there are programmers, designers, editors, administrators ...
They promised to open in the beginning of December a new social network of Russian cities “ My Cities ”. But the discovery is postponed. Therefore, in order to show their drive and promptness, they made an Internet program “In the same city ... (office behind glass)” .

This is my offscreen version. Although actually there is a silent office movie. And the essence of the matter is this.

The social network “My Cities” intends to construct social connections, first of all, on the basis of territorial proximity.
So even the criticized effect of closed network communities (where participants often do not pay attention to the outside world) can play into the hands of the project.

The user of "My Cities" falls into the Internet equivalent of the usual urban environment:

• directory of Russian companies with residents reviews;
• city ​​maps with geoservices;
• posters of cities with the ability to add events by the user;
• ads;
• communities, including territorial;
• city ​​references.

The user profile in My Cities is not only a reference questionnaire, but serves as a place for communication, studying information tapes and using geographic services.

Those add-on services that appeared on other social networks gradually, as their attendance grows, are issued immediately in this project - as a basis.

The calculation here is that:
a) information consumption, communication, creation of communities and reputations will go more naturally, as it occurs in real life;
b) the user orients towards the creation of useful content - for example, reviews about institutions, companies, performances, than simply wasting himself in chats and blogs, trying to attract attention.
c) virtual communication will grow into real one with the ease, as it happens with virtual acquaintances of neighbors.
