Create a global knowledge base on nutrients

I test batteries on the professional equipment. The goal is to cover most of the European and Russian nutrition market.

At the moment, tested more than 230 batteries and batteries. Made more than 1000 tests. 4 battery boxes and several months of life have been consumed.

The result of this work was the knowledge base on batteries and batteries. Under the cut I tell why I decided to create a knowledge base and how it was done.

What I lacked in the existing tests

1. Testing is done by household chargers like the OPUS BT-C3100, IMAX or similar. The accuracy of such devices is too large for reliable analysis of batteries.
   
   For example, Roskontrol conducted a research of the battery market. Only 15 AA batteries were tested. In this case, testing was conducted using a toy train and multimeter for 2 bucks.
2. A limited group of batteries and batteries is being tested. Studies that would include a wide range of nutrients are vanishingly small.
3. Graphs are most often published as graphic files. This is usually screenshots of graphs from EXCEL.
   
4. The measurement results are presented in the form of static text.
5. There are not so many tests of High Drain batteries with currents of 20-40A. Few household charges allow you to discharge 40A batteries. At the same time, testing of High Drain batteries with currents up to 10A does not allow an objective assessment of battery quality.

How did i do

1. Bought professional equipment ZKETECH . These devices are used by many Chinese manufacturers and distributors of electronics.
   Basic measurements are made with the ZKETECH EBC-A40L instrument. ZKETECH EBD Mini V3, EBD-USB + and ZKETECH EBC-A01 models were also used.
2. Investigated more than 230 batteries of different form factors. Both disposable batteries and rechargeable batteries were included in the study.
3. To build graphs used library Highcharts. Using Highcharts allowed to make graphics interactive.
4. Data is stored as a complete database. Due to this, it is possible to search for studies, sort and select elements by parameters. And also selectively compare the characteristics and graphics.
5. Tests High Drain batteries made currents from 20 to 30A. The ZKETECH EBC-A40L device allows measurements of currents up to 40A.

Implemented

1. Selection of batteries in accordance with the specified parameters.
   
   Suppose you want to replace the battery in the screwdriver. You need to choose a Li-ion battery with a form factor of 18650 that can withstand a discharge current of more than 15A.

2. Sort items. It is possible to create your own battery rating. For example, find out which batteries to buy the most profitable. Cheap Alkaline with an average capacity or Lithium with record indicators, but also the same high price.
