Start of the new tutorial "The Jobeet"

The symfony development team once again pleases us with the release of a new version of the framework in which many new features and chips are implemented.

But it’s not so easy to understand whether you need these innovations and how to use them in practice, but for beginners it’s not at all clear where to start learning the framework, besides, it can take a lot of your time, which usually is not enough.

Apparently, to solve these problems, the framework developers decided to continue the cycle of articles showing examples of web project implementation from the beginning to the end using symfony 1.2.

The tutorial is called “The Jobeet”, in fact, this is a website for posting vacancies, like the “work” section in Habré.

In the three years that the symfony framework was an open-source project, it has become one of the most popular PHP frameworks, thanks to its impressive capabilities and excellent documentation.

Today we celebrate the new release of symfony 1.2, so it's time for a new tutorial.

Jobeet is a new tutorial on creating a site (web application) for posting jobs.

Yes, we will do it again. Every day, including weekends, a new lesson will be posted that takes about an hour of your time. This will be a great opportunity to explore Symfony in the process of creating a real web application, from beginning to end.

Every day new chips will be added to the application, new features of symfony will be shown during the development process, as well as good examples of symfony development.

Articles will be published in the blog and documentation section of the official symfony website.

Tutorial is written for beginners, you will need good knowledge of PHP5 and object-oriented programming. But even if you are already familiar with symfony, after reading the tutorial you will probably learn new things and learn about the new features of symfony 1.2.
