Kirill Tolkachev and Maxim Gorelikov about Spring Boot on jug.msk.ru
Kirill Tolkachev and Maxim Gorelikov presented their report on Spring Boot at the meeting of the Moscow Java developers community jug.msk.ru , which took place on June 28, 2019, traditionally in the office of CROC : what tasks can be solved with it, what difficulties may arise and how to deal with them.
Kirill and Maxim, until recently, worked at the Alpha Laboratory , now they represent TsIAN . Both participate in various conferences as speakers. Kirill speaks for the fourth time at jug.msk.ru. In previous times he gave reports twice with Alexander Tarasov ( once and twice ) and once with Baruch Sadogursky .

Andrei Kogun precedes the meeting with announcements of upcoming conferences ( TechTrain 2019 , Joker 2019 ) and presents speakers.
In the first part, the criteria for selecting tools for writing services were reviewed, a change was made in the perception of Spring Boot by Java developers, and an overview of the structure and content of a typical Spring Boot application was made. Mentioned about the problems with different versions of the API services and explained the reasons for the possible appearance of their own starters.
In the second part, we talked about “smart” libraries, about testing, about various problems arising in practice and possible solutions, about other alternative frameworks in relation to Spring Boot . At the end, summed up and given general advice.
The meeting was accompanied by asking questions from the audience during the report, during the break and after the performance. Everyone could communicate in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere both with the speakers and with each other.
