Laptop for life

The crisis pushes manufacturers to significantly lower prices, as well as to launch promotions, which border on economic madness.

Fujitsu has announced the launch of a marketing program called “laptop for life” ( Lifebook4Life ). She suggests a lifetime free "upgrade" of the purchased laptop. The buyer has the right every three years to change his Lifebook to a new model (no more than 10% from the previous purchase, that is, taking into account inflation).

A lifetime upgrade has already been announced for buyers in the UK . To participate in the program, you need to keep a receipt, subscribe to the standard paid service (40 pounds) and also register in the program within 21 days after buying a laptop. After three years, come with a check, bring an old laptop (always in working condition) and get a new model. All this is absolutely free, except for standard service.

Of course, the company will not conduct business at a loss. It is obvious that the service will not remain free indeed for many years to come. In the future, it can and should be paid. That is, you can get a free upgrade only if you pay for some special service. So the "freebie" will not last long.

By the way, this is not the first “crazy” action from the British division of Fujitsu Siemens after the crisis began. For Esprimo laptop buyers, they have already announced Esprimo Promise for a full refund of the cost of the laptop in the event of any serious breakdown during the entire warranty period.
