GeekUniversity opens recruitment to the faculty of product management

Our online university GeekUniversity runs the faculty of product management. For 14 months, students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to work as a product manager, complete tasks from major brands, fill their portfolios with four projects and create their own product in cross-functional teams with developers and designers. Upon completion of training, employment is guaranteed. Education at the faculty will allow students to work in the field of product manager, grocery analyst, project manager.

The faculty of the faculty are practitioners and employees of large companies with specialized education and extensive experience:

The learning process is divided into several quarters. In the first, students will learn the basics of the profession (generate ideas for products and features, conduct research and analyze the market, create MVP and prototypes), the basics of UX / UI design and service design. In the second quarter, students together with developers and designers will begin to create a prototype of their own product, learn management methodologies in the structures of Agile, Scrum, Cynefin and Waterfall, master the techniques of managing a team and its motivation. At the end of the quarter, they will gain practical experience in managing the team and experience in creating and launching a product from scratch, which is especially appreciated by employers.

In the third quarter, students will learn about product and business analytics, work with databases and SQL, after which they will be able to predict indicators and calculate Unit-economy at each stage of product life. Communication with potential employers has shown that the ability to use SQL and work with databases is an important criterion for hiring and salary increase. In the fourth quarter, students will learn to market new products and learn how to promote existing ones.

The final quarter is 2 months of practice. Students will finish work on a product that at the end of the training will be presented to practicing product managers. This also includes a preparation course for interviewing a product manager. Graduates will receive a certificate and a certificate confirming the acquired qualifications.
