Airplane effect

I could not resist ... I decided to publish on the Humor blog, because this effect causes a smile every time.

There was such a story in 1963, when a passenger plane could fall on the city (then Leningrad), but eventually, thanks to the courageous actions of the crew, sat on the Neva River.

This story is published on the site, fully dedicated to the Neva (boast that this is a project of my wife). And now for several years, with enviable regularity (once every 1-2 months), we observe periodic spikes in site traffic associated with this aircraft. We even say something like this: “so, again, did the plane arrive?” And climb into the statistics , see where it came from this time. We have already experienced the “dirty effect” several times, literally just the “LJ effect”, the peak traffic from some other popular information resources (for example, the newspaper Leningradskaya Pravda) and social networks. This is how a modest resource, with a constant thematic audience of no more than 200 people per day, suddenly attracts crowds of people with this, in general, even not quite relevant, article. :)
