Social blog widget

It is not a secret that most often interesting thematic content is born on offline blogs . Since people who are professionally held (especially in IT) prefer to have their own personal blog on a beautiful domain, it’s more interesting to convey useful information.

However, offline blogs have several drawbacks, such as the lack of "friends", the inconvenient presentation of information about the blog, often the inability to leave an opinion about the resource and so on.

We decided to correct this situation and created a Social widget for the blog for everyone who is registered on the Blogod .

Visually, it looks like a “web-two-zero” block with a size of 180x300 pixels with rounded edges, inside which information is grouped by tabs.

In short, the following tabs are available:

• Blog Information
  The name of the blog, the name of the owner, a brief description and statistics are displayed: Yandex CY, Google PR, Yandex Blogs credibility, Yandex Blogs number of readers, Rating Bloody (BlAu)
• Your pictures from the service
  On the service of Blobod, you can upload your pictures with their subsequent publication in the blog.
• Your music from the service
  You can download music on the Blogod and post it to the blog using a beautiful audio player.
• Your video from the service
  On the Blogod, you can upload videos and then publish them in a blog using an equally beautiful video player.
• Your friends
  Our service is social, so standard frendovanie present. The most important thing is that you can add friends from any blog hosting sites, the only condition is that a person is registered on Blogod and has a verified blog there.
• Comments on the blog
  Commenting is available for registered blogs on blog, “quick” commenting is possible through the widget. The only condition you must have an active account on the service. In the future, be sure to add the possibility of using OpenID.
• Sponsorship
  Monetizing your blog is quite a relevant topic. Straight from the widget advertiser will be able to order paid posting or sponsorship

The widget is built into the blog elementary:

1. Register on the blobode (for registration it is enough to specify an e-mail or OpenID);
2. Add a blog and confirm it;
3. You get the widget code through your personal account on the service and paste it into a place convenient for you on your blog (note that the widget is written entirely in JavaScript, so pasting it on most blog hosting sites is impossible);
4. Make settings.

The widget's settings are quite wide: you can select a color, bookmarks, and active bookmark on initial loading.

On the Blogod, we want to erase the boundary between blog hosting sites, give people the opportunity to communicate without restrictions.

Some technical information.

• The entire appearance of the widget is created by means of JavaScript;
• To obtain the data, use mini-API from the Blogod service;
• All requests are cached using memcached.
