Everyone probably already knows about the
record amount of the fine imposed on the spammer in the amount of $ 873 million. It’s clear that this amount will not be collected in life (the plaintiffs themselves admit it) and, accordingly, there will be no educational effect (what the claimant is counting on). That is, once again (no matter how strange it is here), the ineffectiveness of justice and the triumph of impunity are demonstrated.
Under such conditions, would it not be more effective, in your opinion, to apply other penalties for this category of comrades (in addition to confiscation, what they will find) - say, for example, community service for a period of years like that? As an option to make spammers write paper letters - especially as it turned
out, this
turns out to make people happy. For example, if it is in Russia, attach it to the Pension Fund and force them to write these letters of happiness. Grandparents will be pleased to receive a handwritten letter :)
PS The question is of course a theoretical-rhetorical, but in my opinion the educational effect would be much more noticeable ...
UPD: At the expense of forcing writing letters is of course humor (just the first thing that came to mind as a proposal for these graphomania), but at the expense of standard public works in all seriousness (cleaning the streets, painting and other educational and unpaid (performed in free main work time))
