Amarok 2.0 rc1 output

The other day, more precisely, about 4 days ago, on the KDE project FTP, the source code of amarok appeared in the unstable branch mentioning version 1.98. Just recently, on the official site of the Amarok project, there was information about the first RC of this wonderful cross-platform player, known to all KDE-shnik and not only.

Despite the preparations for the final release and the “hunt for bugs”, the amarok team added several new features regarding the previously released Beta3, for example (free translation from the offsite):

- Recommended user stations are now displayed in Last.fm service
- Playlist Browser items can be deleted or renamed directly from the keyboard.
- Simplified and extended views when changing the file name scheme is now synchronized
- Added button to delete the scheme in the advanced mode
- Import iTunes libraries now allows you to import and statistics from iTunes
- The settings dialog remembers the last page used
- Track information can be changed from the file browser

UPD. Thanks for the karma! Moving to the KDE blog.
