What is remembered RIT ++ 2019

On May 27-28, a branch exhibition and a number of professional thematic conferences “Russian Internet Technologies 2019” were held in Moscow. Selectel traditionally supported the event and acted as its partner. Today we will briefly tell you exactly what guests and participants remembered.

Ontiko , the organizer of the festival, has made every effort to create a comfortable and convenient space for both guests and for organizing companies' stands. For two days of the festival, the campus of the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo has become an excellent space for the exchange of experience and communication.

Perhaps the basic desire of each visitor was the desire to create more clones for himself or to create a “flywheel of time” in order to have time to visit all the reports of participants passing in nine parallel streams. Narrow-profile conferences with hardcore reports are the strongest side of the event, as it allows to gather specialists of the most diverse orientation under one roof: from developers and system administrators to entrepreneurs and managers.

Among the most "hot" topics of the reports in our opinion were:

• the concept of continuous integration and delivery (CI / CD);
• incident management;
• automation of routine processes;
• resiliency and building distributed systems.

The speakers shared their extremely interesting experience in solving complex problems, told about the tools used, as well as the developed methodology for solving emerging problems. For example, the company Leroy Merlin switched to the microservice architecture, faced with the performance problems of a monolithic system. The developers had to do a tremendous job of bringing business logic to separate microservices using RabbitMQ.

In between the presentations, it was possible to discuss what was heard with the “colleagues in the workshop” and to check out any ideas in our ecosystem:



A lot of “geeky” entertainment was waiting for guests at the stands of the presented companies: from solving puzzles and puzzles to firing from futuristic office weapons.



All this created its own indescribable atmosphere in which the discussion of serious and important issues could occur during a game in air hockey or a fight in Mortal Combat.



Events of this level are not only an excellent opportunity to talk about the company, but also to get feedback from those who are already active customers. At our booth, we heard honest reviews about the work of our services, as well as interesting suggestions for improving the quality of our services.



I would like to say thanks to all the guests who spoke about their cases and problems. We will surely take into account all wishes in order to make our services even more convenient and reliable.

At the end of each of the two days of the conference, we presented visitors with many valuable prizes: our Tireks, wireless chargers and convenient bags.
