How to "select" a product from the mass of bluetooth dongles
My friend has long wanted to buy a bluetooth 2.0 adapter for the desktop so that you can listen to music on the blue-toothed headphones.
Accordingly, I chose an inexpensive Class 1 dongle with a range of 100 meters.
And came across an option that conquered him.
Since the adapter is for desktop, miniature is not important. And then there's the antenna! Probably the range will be really good!
Actually bought, brought home, but because playful hands, I decided to look inside.
And what did you see?
Not only is the antenna just a plastic fake, not connected to anything, the board itself takes up half of the case.
Further worse. Under MacOS and Windows XP, it is not defined as standard. If you can install a complete driver for Windows (the quality of which I have not checked yet, but which I doubt very much), then under MacOS it is completely useless.
In short fucking divorce. These adapters are now sold in many stores. Don't get caught like my friend. Choose compact adapters, if possible try to make sure that the adapter with a good stack type Broadcom-Widcomm.
