What can a robot feel?

In response to the post on the topic “A highly developed AI must have a soul,” I decided to write a small topic.

Two years ago, Sony released the promotional video "Robots can feel" ...

“A city filled with robots is diluted by real people, who stand out from the gray mechanical crowd not only with good mood and active pastime, but also with the presence of one of Sony gadgets. In the metal head of one of the inhabitants of this strange metropolis does not fit, what distinguishes these people from him, while in the subway he does not meet IT ”- this description is given in the advertising agency Adme.
')
Under the meaningful word “EE”, there is a girl with a pretty face pulling the earpiece of a well-known company into the robot, after which the robot is reincarnated into a human. Captions at the end: "FELL"

Let us omit the argument that this reincarnation SONY wanted to tell the viewer, let us dwell on the consequences of the clips of such a scenario.

Such a “humanization” of a piece of metal (and soon 100% plastic) is a good advertising technique for the company, but separates the viewer from understanding what a robot is: a piece of metal that thinks like a person (modern PC surpasses a person in the number of operations per second), looks like a person (wax museum), feels like a person (the dog feels much more than any AI at any time)?

In response to SONY advertising, I had the idea of a small social video (purposefully shocking for better memorization):

So.

Scene 1:
Light dynamic music. On a white background there are two tables, on each of them lie one piece of a log. On the right log is written: "Help!". Two chainsaws appear in the frame, cutting at the same time from each log in a small piece. Image fadeout

Scene 2:
Music continues. In the frame on a white background, the same two tables. Instead of logs sit two Pinocchio. On one of them on the neck hangs a sign "Help!". In the frame there are two saws, and cut off each of Buratino by one hand.

Scene 3:
The music continues. In a frame on a white background, two robots of a classic type, made of metal, are sitting on a stool. Two saws appear and cut off each robot's arm. The one on the right, the robot begins to repeat the same word “Help!” In a metal, robotic voice. Attenuation

Scene 4:
The music continues. On a white background, two intelligent women are sitting in small chairs and discussing purchases among themselves. Two saws appear in the frame and cut off each woman’s arm. The music stops abruptly.
Both instead of blood, sparks fly in different directions and stick out wires. The viewer understands that these are robots that are completely identical to humans. At this moment the woman, the one on the right, starts screaming like a real woman in hysterics: “Aah-aa help, I lost my hand. Help, etc. " And the other woman bends down to the floor, picks up her cut off hand, sincerely apologizes to the audience and inserts the hand back. Attenuation

Captions at the end: What can a robot "feel"? .. Only what a man has programmed into it!
