Show your employer that you are developing: indicate your additional education in the profile on “My Circle”

From our regular research, we see that despite the fact that 85% of specialists working in IT have a higher education, 90% in the course of their professional activities are engaged in self-education, and 65% are taking additional vocational education courses . We see that one higher education in IT today is not enough, and the demand for continuous retraining and advanced training is extremely high.

Evaluating potential candidates, 50% of employers are interested in both future and additional education of their future employees. In 10-15% of cases, information about the education of a candidate significantly influences the decision about hiring him. In 50% of cases, profile higher education for IT helps job seekers and in 25% of cases in career advancement, non-core higher education for IT - in 35% and 20% of cases, respectively, additional professional education - in 20% and 15%.

Seeing all these numbers, we decided to pay special attention to education on My Circle . Now on our career service, you can supplement your resume with information about all courses completed . We also introduced profiles of educational institutions, where you can learn about the specialization of the institution, and get acquainted with the statistics of their graduates.

In the specialist’s resume on “My Circle” a new “Additional Education” unit has appeared. In it you can indicate the institution in which you attended the training, the name of the educational program or course, the period of training, acquired or advanced skills, attach a photo certificate.





On the search on the basis of candidates and in the responses to the vacancy, the specialist card was expanded with information about the institutions in which additional vocational education was received. On the search, you can bring all professionals who have such an education .



Educational institutions, both higher and additional education, have their own profile, where you can learn about the specialization of the institution, as well as get acquainted with the statistics of graduates:

• Number of graduates among users of the service;
• In which first companies they worked;
• In which companies they worked at all;
• What is their current specialization and skills;
• In which cities they now live.

When designing a new block of additional education, we simultaneously improved the block design with experience, bringing it to the same style:

• Positions and time spent in them became more clearly displayed;
• Now you can clearly see if a specialist grew in a career within a company, moving positions to a position;
• A brief information about employers has been added: the company's specialization is immediately visible, its city and size.

So now the specialist’s resume contains the following information:

• Professional skills;
• Experience in companies;
• Participation in trade unions;
• Higher education;
• Additional professional education.
