Course program

Part 1: Fast production of plastic products from thermoset plastics

In the first part of the course, you will gain knowledge of the following technical processes and their application:

• 3D printing. Prototyping and master models using SLA technology;
• The technology of molding products from thermosets (with the properties of basic engineering plastics and rubbers) under vacuum conditions;
• RIM - technology. Casting products from thermoset plastics using mixing and dosing equipment;
• Demonstration of technology in existing production.

Part 2: Small-scale production of products using thermal vacuum molding technology for sheet plastics

In the second part of the course, you will learn about the implementation and application of the following processes:

• 3D scanning, reverse engineering in the design of molded products;
• Design and manufacture of equipment (including using a milling robotic complex);
• Quality control of manufacturing equipment using a 3D scanner,
• Thermal vacuum forming of sheet plastics. The functionality and features of the equipment.
• Robotic trimming blanks.
• Demonstration of technology in existing production.

• CNC milling machine DC 1090A from Ningbo Kaibo Machinery co., Ltd for the manufacture of tooling, molds, metalworking, processed materials - metals, wood, MDF, model plates, plastics;
• Tools Factory TF 600 vacuum casting machine.
