Creating an event with SMS notification in Google Calendar using XMLHTTP and launching a script from Outlook

Create event:

1. First you need to set up your Google Calendar - here is how to do it

2. Save the VBScript code in the vbs-file (for example, google_sms.vbs).

3. Startup line:

Outlook Integration:

1. Open “Tools” - “Macro” - “Visual Basic Editor”, select ThisOutlookSession in the VbaProject.OTM project. Insert the SendNotificationSMS function. You must specify: User, Password, Path to the script.

It is advisable to "sign" the script (in the Visual Basic Editor "Tools" - "Digital Signature ...")

2. Create a “Tools” rule - “Rules and Alerts ...” and select the “run a script” action. Select the SendNotificationSMS function.

3.Outlook 2007. Open “Tools” - “Macro” - “Security ...”. Install “Warning for all macros”. Restart Outlook. If a window with “Enable Disable macros” appears, then make Enable (usually it appears when the rule is first triggered or when you open “Tools” - “Macro” - “Visual Basic Editor”)

4. Check that everything works - for example, by sending yourself an e-mail, the rule for which you want to call.
