Is it worth it at the very beginning of the project to share it with other people
even if it was their idea, but they themselves are not able to implement this project without me, and I without them - can I? Of course, depends on the specific project.
Background : Recently, a familiar designer asked me to "help with a project on a drupal" not for money, but to create a useful portal. At the same time, I myself collected ideas for creating a similar project. After sharing ideas with me, we immediately began to "share the skin of an unkilled bear."
All participants - and they gathered as many as 4! (I, Designer, CEO and Investor) - revealed a natural desire to have a share of no less than the rest. I suggested such conditions: reserving the last word in making any decisions, and assuming, firstly, working with friends is more fun :) and secondly, that if we all contribute the same amount of useful energy to the development of the project, then everyone has the right in equal shares of profit.
This is where the first dog is buried. How to calculate who brought how much energy? I created a project on
acunote.com (project management system) and compiled each participant, including myself, with a separate task sprint to calculate the elapsed time. As a result, it became obvious that the calculation of the share in the project based on the time efficiency of the work done did not happen:
- The SEO optimizer did not like that the domains were not registered to him and he was offended;
- The investor registered all major domains and went back to his crisis.
Theoretically, I can write the code myself and order a quality design, why give a part
(half)? But of course, this is the move of greedy people. It will be harder to develop the project itself; on the eve
, people with relevant experience are
talking about it . Who else had similar situations, share experiences and tips, thank you.
