This is a selection for professionals, technical students and their younger colleagues. In this digest we will talk about the next thematic events (May, June and July).

The iHarvest Angels business angel club invests from 3 million rubles in projects with development prospects in the international market. In order to present your startup club to the Fitch Technologies business accelerator-based pitch session, you need to fill out a short questionnaire before May 13. We invite projects with an already formed team, ready-made prototype ( MVP ) and confirmed demand for your product (there are first customers / sales / partnership agreements, etc.). The pitch session will be held in 4x4 format: 4-minute presentations with an additional 4 minutes for answering expert questions.

We support the project approach and provide an opportunity to implement your ideas on the basis of the ITMO University and the Sirius Educational Center. Our task is to search for projects in the field of physics, suitable for collaboration with schoolchildren and students as semester tasks. Both schoolchildren themselves and their teachers can participate, as well as university staff, students and graduate students from any region of the country. We invite students of 5-10th grades and their parents to our thematic festival. We have prepared an interactive platform with the developments of our student laboratories, master classes and thematic lectures. The main objective of the event is the presentation of opportunities for schoolchildren at the ITMO University. Registration is required to participate.

An open event for those who would like to try their hand at analytics - the development of sustainable monetization models and business modeling. The workshop will be conducted based on the Models of Impact Toolkit methodology. The participants will be assisted by experts: Grigori Martishin (ambassador of Models of Impact in Russia), Irina Vishnevskaya (director of the Social Innovation Center of the Leningrad Region), Elena Gavrilova (director of the Center for Entrepreneurship of ITMO University) and Anastasia Moskvina (expert of the Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovations of the Higher School of Economics) ).

This lecture is part of the cycle of lectures at ITMO University on science and technology. Sergey Kolyubin , Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Control Systems and Robotics, will talk about the development of robotics and developments in the field of cyber-physical systems . We organize this event together with the University of Crete (Greece), the University of Amsterdam (Netherlands) and the FORTH Research and Technology Foundation (Greece). Our task is to strengthen ties between young scientists from different countries. The key topics of the conference are High Performance Computing, Big Data and Complex Systems Modeling.

Invited to participate teams that will be able to speak at the pitch session - the final part of this event. His goal is to provide an opportunity to communicate with potential investors and partners. Invited experts - Robert Neuvert (500 startups startups, USA), Mikhail Oseevsky (President Rostelecom), Timur Schukin (head of the NTI Neuronet working group) and other speakers will speak at the participants.

This is the eighth international symposium dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the First All-Union Conference on the Interaction of Optical Radiation with Matter. An extensive scientific program and a demonstration of the practical application of lasers in industry (in a separate section of the symposium) is planned for this event. The organizers are ITMO University, Institute of General Physics. A.M. Prokhorov Russian Academy of Sciences, LLC Laser Center, Russian Museum, Laser Association and the Optical Society. D.S.
