The author thus restored the performance of the tray drive in the CD-i format player, which promised a great future in 1992 (but it did not come, and soon a big and terrible 3DO came). Passik is designed in the program 123D (no longer supported) and printed on a 3D printer Lulzbot Taz 4 standard extruder. As a slicer, a version of the Cura program is used, designed for Lulzbot printers. The profile is selected as if printing is carried out by a PLA filament, the nozzle temperature is 230 ° C, its diameter is 0.35 mm, the table is covered with a special blue ribbon for 3D printers (has no relation to electrical tape), the table heating is turned off. You may have to print several passiks of slightly different sizes, especially if you forget for the first time that 123D requires a cylinder radius, not its diameter. How to translate the circumference into a radius is known. Belt is printed quite quickly, and the filament leaves a little.
