Yandex presented the first Ilya Segalovich awards to young scientists and supervisors
Yesterday, April 10, in the Moscow office of Yandex, the first laureates of the Ilya Segalovich Award , created this year to support young researchers and the scientific community of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, were awarded. In the three months since the launch of the award, 262 applications came from young professionals and academic leaders who could be nominated by their students and graduate students. The Award Council selected nine top young researchers and four scientific leaders. The youngest laureate is only twenty one.
Students and postgraduates who have become laureates will receive 350 thousand rubles each and the opportunity to attend an international conference on artificial intelligence, a personal mentor and an internship in the Yandex Research Department, managers won 700 thousand rubles each.
