A little bit about humor
It seems to me that if people come to humor with such soup , then nothing good will come of it. How can you seriously talk about the funny? How can you be so tedious?
I love to laugh at work. So that if absolutely everything is difficult, then it is better to have fun.
How many people take themselves so seriously that they cannot imagine themselves smiling. Or interesting to talk about his business. Or somehow do something so as not to be such a very old fart in their incomplete twenty-thirty-forty.

And why evaluate the article according to the principle “oh, there is a joke, this is not a serious article”? The entire Internet (including the Habr) is littered with such a stilted and worthless, but very serious brute force that any non-standard text causes massive reflex rejection.
Because of such cases - we will separate humor and self-irony from the profession - and we seem to people to be boring, untalented assholes. Just among us there is a majority. The author does not claim special differences.
