Textly.AI - service to improve written English
Hello! Today I wanted to tell you about my new project - an online assistant for correcting errors in English texts Textly.ai . This is a service for those who use English in communications or want to improve their writing skills.
We have created extensions for Chrome and Firefox browsers . After installing such an extension, the system begins to check the text that you type on a variety of sites - from email services like Gmail to blog platforms like Medium and social networks (Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
The algorithm in real time searches for typos (there are 9 million of them in the database), punctuation errors, grammar, style inaccuracies. For each error found, the assistant offers options for corrections.

If a system does not know a word, but you are sure that it is correct - you can add it to your personal dictionary, Textly.AI will not emphasize it anymore. The important point is that extensions can be used free of charge and even without registration, that is, completely anonymously.
In addition to browser extensions, we have an even more functional web application. In it, the user can create multiple documents and conveniently switch between them.
Everything works simply: copy or start typing it directly in the editor - the system will start looking for typos, punctuation, grammar and style errors.
The error sets will differ for different English variants: Textly.AI supports not only British and American English, but also, for example, Canadian and Australian variations.
In the case of learning to write English, it is important to understand how different language variants differ - British, American, Australian, or Canadian. The built-in tool for checking the readability of the resulting materials will also be useful: the student will gradually begin to understand which words add unnecessary complexity to the text.
In addition to the functions that are in many similar services, Textly.AI has some features that are not as common. One of the most important is the presence in the program of a special Pastebin-mode, which works similarly to secret chat rooms in the messenger: all materials that are created in it are checked for errors, and after closing the window are completely removed.
The service will be useful to those who have to conduct written communication in English (from writing business letters to filling out profiles in Tinder), as well as those who are learning a language or teaching it. We also expect that Textly will be used not only by the students themselves, but also, for example, by their parents: by purchasing access for a child, they will be able to see how many mistakes he makes in the texts, and monitor progress (useful knowledge if you pay, for example for extra classes).
