The prediction of how the limitations of the Internet will be overcome

A warning! I am not an expert in the field of information transfer, so please treat with understanding the ideas and facts presented in the article. Questions and answers in the text interested me for a long time, but I would like to hear the opinions of people who are in the "topic".

Internet regulation is now a trend discussion. Many opinions on this issue were expressed at Habré. Here are just a few of them: State Internet: a remote story about a VPN in China , Responsibilities of search engines: how to “edit” a search in Russia . Is it all so inevitably gloomy and hopeless? Are alternatives and workarounds possible in the case of attempts to implement elements of the Chinese script?

Small circle

To send a message or a call from one mobile device to another, you need the signal to reach the nearest repeater and be transferred to another subscriber. These are obvious things, but when your interlocutor is located ten meters away from you, this leads to certain thoughts ... and probably not only I think so?
')
Let's start with the facts about which, so far very few people probably know, namely the possibility of transmitting information without any connection to the Internet and cellular communication in the city.

Sounds fantastic? But it is a reality! To do this, use the standard Wi Fi, and application FireChat on your smartphone. According to the creators, FireChat is able to function with delays in the transmission of messages for no more than 10 minutes in a big city, if only 5 percent of the population in the smartphone have this application.

Of course, you can transfer without an application (there are 3 ways to do it) , but the limitation on the transmission distance is then more.
Durov created a telegram, but the telegraph (e-mail without using the Internet) was created by amateurs. Unites these systems probably not only names from the 19th century, but also potential resistance to attempts of complete control by external forces.

Middle circle

Downloading files from the torrent we get “help” from tens and hundreds of people who “distribute” ... so really the principle “you to me - I to you” cannot be applied on a larger scale when sharing information? Especially if you enter a fee for "mediation" in the form of a "currency" access to a specific volume of information transmitted by the device. Something like “fishing” (programs), only on the basis of “as much as helping others pass on - you can transfer as much yourself.” It is necessary to do this so that people will not spare their devices for transmitting information, and in every possible way develop the network.

Okay, the author with the smartphones figured out, but what about the slightly longer distances? Here the sphere of the Internet of things will help us. Nowadays, they have already learned how to use these smart devices to create bot networks . But in fact, we cannot call these devices smart language. For the future development of 5-G networks, the possibilities for the intellectualization of these devices will increase - hence the potential possibility of transmitting information traffic through them without using the Internet, by analogy with the “small circle” too.
Wireless communication between vehicles (V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) as well as IoT can allow communicating with the entire infrastructure for transmitting information flows. This is no longer a static kettle or a tablet in your pocket - the range of a system for transmitting information theoretically increases several times. Installing such devices to another transport the same for the future increases the possibility of sharing information.

Big circle

Many countries impose all sorts of restrictions on the use of quadcopter drones (Yes, yes ... this is not only Russia). Drones with a small weight such legislative restrictions do not concern yet. How long?

City, suburb - great! But how to contact distant subscribers from other countries? Is it really all these "circular" technology and all? Blown away?

Of course not! Just in this format, solutions are even more, as are the ways of information transfer, and security can even be higher. There are only 3 main ways to transfer information in this case.

Wired - via the power grid for transmitting information over the wire . AT & T has improved this technology and promises to overcome the main drawback - the low data rate.

Wireless - using the "relay" of drones, the only cargo of which will be information. Another option - balloons .

Hybrid - combining the first and second in different proportions. An example of a hybrid way is smuggling.

Of course, now the hybrid method is not used ...

But despite the success of some airborne quadcopters, this can be considered a temporary phenomenon. Yes, and underground it is easier to start up mini-drones than to dig in full growth for a “live drone”.

PS - There is a "white" official Internet, and there is a "black" (darknet) ... maybe there will be a "gray" of different shades?
