Testing in different versions of IE

I still encounter people's questions on how to test a site in different versions of IE.
And how to make this process fast and convenient.
Oddly enough, Microsoft thought about this. We follow the link and download first the latest version of Virtual PC and then the necessary images with versions of IE.
We install Virtual PC, unpack the images, connect (only for the 8th ie, allocate at least 256 memory) and the voila.
Simple and convenient way ready for use.
And most importantly, you see the real result of the work of the browser you need, surrounded by a “clean” OS.
