AMD is going to present the long-awaited mobile processor tomorrow?

Bobcat For a very long time, rumors have been circulating throughout the network about the AMD mobile processor, which should be a little to press the Intel Atom from its current warm position in the market; To be more specific, the first message about such a chip appeared a little over a year ago. But so far no specific statements on this issue have been made, even despite today's superpopularness of netbooks.

AMD's CEO, Dirk Meyer, in several public speeches (such as the recent, related to AMD reporting for the 3rd quarter of the year), promised to introduce a mobile-oriented “Bobcat” processor (red lynx) in November. The Notebooks.com portal believes that tomorrow, at the 2008 AMD Financial Analys conference, the much-awaited release will finally happen for two reasons: 1. it's time for it and 2. more, AMD has no conference in the current month.
