The idea of creating the project RealMeters.ru appeared with the arrival in Petersburg. Situation: a group of students from Pyatigorsk are transferred to one of the universities of St. Petersburg, who promised to provide a place in a hostel. What was a surprise after the statements that there are no places in the hostel, and it is not known whether. At that moment we were very closely faced with the problem of finding housing, we did not have the opportunity to pay an additional 100% for the services of intermediaries. We all ended well, but I would like for such situations to be as small as possible ...
A feature of the RealMeters project is filtering ads by users; anyone can add a reseller number to the stop list and exclude an ad from the list. For this, a voting system is provided, having collected a certain number of votes, the announcement is deleted. The same system of dealing with obsolete ads. Thus, time-consuming work carried out by each agency is removed.

In the near future, a list of agencies capable of providing only legal services and the cost of their services will be published in the RealMeters project. We believe that this should be a fixed fee, not a percentage of the rental price, because the size of the contract does not change depending on the area of the apartment or room.
Also, in the majority of ads, “I'll take off” indicates a link to profiles on social networks (now: Vkontakte, Odnoklassniki, MirTesen). This allows you to get more information about the person, which is especially important when renting a room - everyone wants to see a tidy and clean tenant.
