GeekBrains together with Rostelecom will hold IoT Hackathon

Educational portal GeekBrains and Rostelecom invite you to participate in the IoT Hackathon, which will be held March 30-31 in the Moscow office of Mail.ru Group. Take part can any novice developer.

In 48 hours, the participants, having broken up into teams, will plunge into the real business of the Internet of things, communicate with experts, learn how to distribute tasks, time and responsibilities, and create a prototype of their own solution for the IoT task. For those who have not yet decided to work on new ideas, Rostelecom has prepared several cases from its practice.

The hackathon will be useful to UX / UI and web designers, product managers, novice security specialists, system administrators and testers. During the hackathon itself, on March 30 and 31, mentors will be present at the site - experts from Rostelecom and teachers from GeekBrains. They will help participants not to lose morale, coder’s grasp and bring the project to MVP.

In advance of the event, the organizers will add useful educational materials to the guide that will help participants prepare. Also during the hackathon, practical workshops will be held that will give the necessary knowledge to dive into the Internet of things and implement the ideas of the participating teams.
