Volvo will install drunk drivers in their cars

The company Volvo announced its intention to equip their cars with cameras and sensors inside the cabin. All these devices are necessary to monitor the status of drivers, as reported by the company itself.

According to representatives of Volvo, cars with re-equipped interior will appear in 2020. At the same time, the company believes that its project will help support drivers and help them when they need it.

The cameras will follow the expression of the face and the reaction of the pupils of the drivers. The mimicry and the reaction of the pupils allow you to quickly understand whether the driver is distracted from the road or not. If it turns out that the person is unable to drive a car or even fall asleep, the car will start giving signals. In addition, warnings will be displayed.

But if nothing helps, then the car will be able to independently limit its speed, send a request to the service department and park on the side of the road.

In addition, Volvo will limit the maximum speed of its cars to 180 km / h. This step will be implemented in the same 2020.
