
Recently, Yandex has introduced a new service, Yandex.patent, which provides users with free access to more than 2.5 million various Russian patent documents. You can find them not only through the service itself, but also with the help of the Yandex search engine.
It is reported that the new service includes patent documents from 1924 to the present day. Among them you can find copyright certificates of the USSR, Russian patents and patent applications. The data are loaded into the database from the register of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS).
The company declares that it will regularly replenish the Yandex.patent database, eventually adding documents to other types of intellectual property.
