In the fall of 17, not only the Great October Socialist Revolution took place. In the fall of 2017, the state campaign began to harass the online messenger - Telegram. First, the creators of the messenger were demanded by the keys that would allow to decipher all the correspondence of its users, for refusal - they filed a lawsuit against him, and in the spring of 18th the most ambitious by its absurdity and inefficiency began - “Epic Wave of Locks”. In the process of these locks, large-scale online services have been malfunctioning from small personal projects to banking services. RKN did not stop it, and to this day, contrary to all laws, the constitution and common sense, millions of IP addresses remain blocked.

Yesterday in the Telegram channel there was a message about the next rally agreed , against restrictions on freedom of the Internet, which will be held in several cities.

For more than 10 months, Roskomnadzor has been blocking thousands of IP addresses daily, trying to prevent Telegram from operating in Russia. So far Telegram wins in this struggle, but on any given day everything can change - the state has enormous resources withdrawn from the population.

This Sunday, March 10 at 14:00 in Moscow on Sakharov Square will be a coordinated rally of supporters of the free Internet. The rally is held in response to the adopted law on the isolation of the Russian Internet, the purpose of which is to introduce total censorship in Russia.

Having spent billions of rubles, the authorities plan to cut off Russia from the rest of the world, after which they will be able to block foreign social networks and instant messengers.

Telegram supports the rally against the isolation of Runet on Sunday and encourages its users to participate in it. Similar rallies are held in other cities of Russia.

On April 22, 18, Pavel Durov called for a rally in support of a free runet, during which it was proposed to launch paper airplanes - as the symbolism of the Telegram messenger logo. On April 30, on Sakharov Avenue in Moscow, an agreed rally was held in support of the blocked Telegram.

Now the meetings “Against Runet Isolation” have been agreed, in particular, against all restrictions on freedom in the international network, in general. Rallies will be held in several cities:

Moscow, March 10, 14:00, metro station Komsomolskaya, Sakharov Avenue.
Khabarovsk, March 10, 14:00, Komsomolskaya Square.
Voronezh, March 10, 14:00, Nikitinskaya Square.
