Those who oversee the work of the designer from the side often think that this specialty is more interesting than the most interesting ones. They are not bored! In fact, the language somehow does not turn to call the designer - a boring office plankton ...
But we all know how much working time, in fact, takes a creative process ... Most of the "life" goes to draw an infinite number of options, search for the only possible form, work out dozens of additional layouts, typical elements, etc. And if imagine that this is the fifth layout design of a construction company site only this year, it becomes quite sad. And work turns into a gray routine.
As practice shows, if this happened - do not expect a good, creative result from the designer. The site of the fifth construction company will be as bland and boring as the reflection of the face in the designer’s monitor.
')
In order to draw such a picture from scratch in Photoshop, an experienced technical designer will need two or three hours ... But it’s much more pleasant to spend fifteen minutes going to the nearest store to buy, bring half a kilo of fragrant, sweet cookies to the office, take a picture of everything digital soap box, then bring a little bit in the well-known program. Then, for tea, share with the team the remnants of a photo shoot :).
Some kind of radical ways of dealing with such crises probably does not exist. Is that to arrange a dark manager :), which is always a little - but it is somehow not humane, and contrary to the global interests of the company.
If we talk about the reasons, then it is not always "the fifth site design of the construction company this year." Much depends on the approach to work. We all know that almost any necessary photo can be found on the Internet, almost everything can be drawn using only photoshop, and what is impossible can be drawn in max.
That's right, only this endless immersion in the monitor screen is the most reliable recipe for “turn-away potion” even for a very enthusiastic representative of the profession. It does not always work quickly, but with an almost one hundred percent result at the output.
Therefore, if I have the opportunity to break away from the screen, I always try to use it and recommend the same to everyone who works in our company.
Go to wander around the construction site, arrange a photo session in the neighboring yard, dazzle or cut something out of paper, help unload the wagon with candies, try on a life-size dummy, visit the sausage factory, talk “for life” with the men from the assembly shop, try to roll in the kitchen sushi bar ... in one word do not be afraid to dive on Wednesday! All this will make your work much more interesting, the client is more loyal and in the end will fill the fifth site layout of the construction company this year with lively colors.
