Web forms "Traffic Light". Implementation option

Not so long ago, Gunger introduced a variant for coloring text input elements on a form. I really liked this option, despite the criticism of some users, and I decided that in time I would make my implementation.

The time has come and I am pleased to present my version of the implementation written in the form of a jQuery plugin. I called the plugin semaphore, in my quite successful name. The plugin works with regular expressions to check the validity of the input.

The plugin was tested in Firefox 3.0.3, Internet Explorer 7 and 8b2, Opera 9.52 and Chrome 0.3.154.9. In all other browsers, performance is guaranteed as far as jQuery works in them.

Perhaps someone will pay attention and he will like this approach in the user interface.
