How was Love Kubernetes in Mail.ru Group on February 14
Hello friends. Summary of the previous series: we launched @Kubernetes Meetup in the Mail.ru Group and almost immediately realized that we did not fit into the framework of the classic mitap. This is how Love Kubernetes - special edition @ Kubernetes Meetup # 2 appeared on Valentine's Day.
Honestly, we were a little worried if you love Kubernetes so much to spend the evening of February 14th with us. But almost 600 applications for participation in the mitap, the registration for which we had to stop quite quickly, 400 guests and another 600 participants who joined us in the online broadcast told us: “Yes”.

Panel discussion "Vanilla Kubernetes or vendor distribution: what's the future for?"
Most cloud providers provide Kubernetes as a service based on vanilla distribution. But the market now also offers many Kubernetes assemblies, and even individual products based on them: some of them just slightly improve non-optimal behavior, others — such as OpenShift — almost completely change Kubernetes.
Together with vendors of such distributions and representatives of companies that exploit vanilla Kubernetes along with vendor solutions, we understand the pros and cons of each option.
