Every year we start discussing the CodeFest program with a question, will there be a design section this year? It will, but it is not accurate.

The fact is that we have long ceased to perceive the design as something about pictures. Design is about solving problems and specific tasks, about how to help the user.

Designers have long ceased to argue that cooler: Illustrator or Corel, Figma or Sketch. (It is clear that IllustratorSketch.) Today, the designer needs to understand the technologies and methodologies in order to find a worthy solution to the problem, meet the budget, find a common language with the customer, make the user happy.

In the design section, we have collected useful life cases that will be shared by the best speakers of our time. Each of them has a unique experience, exclusive rakes and dusty skeletons in the closet.

Yaroslav Shuvaev , Head of Development of Promising Products at Ak Bars Digital Technologies. Supervises intensively UX & UI at the British High School of Design, develops the Russian community of interface designers Intensive UX & UI.
In his speech, Yaroslav will talk about the design of products based on artificial intelligence.


Valeria Kurmak . Engaged in research and design of user experience (UX). Performs as disability design advocate. In 2016, she conducted one of the largest studies on disability in Russia, following the results of which she designed guidelines for the adaptation of the physical space and digital environment of Sberbank for people with disabilities.

Valeria will share an exceptionally important topic “How to show the interface to someone who does not see.”
