Larry Sanger creates another improved Wikipedia
Larry Sanger is known for his suggestion to Jimmy Wales to use the wiki engine to create a free encyclopedia. It was he who invented the name "Wikipedia", which is now known to the whole world.

Sanger left the project and subsequently criticized Wikipedia for lack of public trust, for the poor quality selection of authors, etc. All problems, according to Sanger, stem from the harmful "anti-elitism" of the project, its disdain for everything elite and lack of respect for experts.
In December 2005, it became known that Sanger was involved in the creation of the Digital Universe project , an alternative to Wikipedia. For this startup even $ 10 million investment was raised.
Now it turned out that Larry Sanger is simultaneously working on another non-commercial project. The project, called Citizendium, is intended as a “more civilized” version of Wikipedia. The opening of the wiki interface will take place as soon as possible, possibly until the end of September.
