Firmware update broke Nike sneakers

Users of Nike sneakers are experiencing technical difficulties due to programmer errors. Sneakers Adapt BB for $ 350 - the latest model in the line of high-tech Nike shoes with automatic lacing. In high-tech shoes, “laces” can be tied with a simple button click in the application on the smartphone (in fact, there are no laces there, and the landing is regulated more intelligently, but the problem arose anyway).

Accordingly, sneakers come bundled with the Nike Adapt app for Android and iOS. The application mates with shoes and allows you to adjust the density of the fit, adjust the backlight of the sneakers, as well as see how much battery life is left in the shoes. But there was a problem: the Nike Android app is buggy.

Android users report various sneaker glitches after updating the firmware. In some cases, there is no reliable connection with the application, and in other cases, sneakers are not connected at all. The application on Google Play flooded with reviews of 1 star due to a buggy update, writes Ars Technica.

One of the victims writes: "During the update, an error occurred, because of which the right shoe failed." Another says: “The application is synchronized only with the left shoe, and then gives an error each time. In addition, when I try to reinstall and start over, the app says that the left shoe is already connected to another device. ”

“My left sneaker can't even reboot,” the third one complains. A colleague in misfortune in the comments advises him to perform a manual restart of the entire pair of shoes "in accordance with the instructions."

Nike responded to user complaints: “We are aware of this problem and are actively working to resolve it,” said the manufacturer.
