“Black mirror” or Picooc ad?



Commercials. A normal person transfers them in one case: when he urgently needs to take a break in the video marathon. Unfortunately, word of mouth and social networks do not always work efficiently, so companies have to resort to video advertising so far. We have always tried to post content for which there would be no painful shame. Our latest campaign for smart scales Picooc proves that advertising can be really decent. See what happened.


The video was produced by the Russian video blogger Yegor Loskutov. Filming was conducted in conjunction with the studio DOPE Films and director Boris Kazantsev. The main roles were shot by friends of Loskutov and well-known YouTube bloggers: Mikhail Kshishtovsky, Yevgeny “Topa” Popadinets and Dmitry Karpov, aka “Synduk”.

The main source of inspiration was the satirical British TV series “The Black Mirror”, but the script itself is original. In addition, some ideas are drawn from Apple presentations and Ex Machina film. Although this is an advertisement, the project is non-commercial and experimental for all participants.

This is not the first non-standard advertisement for Madrobots products. For example, two years ago there was a video about the iZi overalls , which was shot by the Cheboksary studio “Intellectual Film”. And last spring - another short, but dramatic video about Picooc weights of our own production.
